In Homo Summetros, the author defines Symmetry as "the evolution of the human mind towards balance." Mr. Tibbs believes that all of creation -- our physical world, our biological selves, our society -- is striving to evolve toward balance.

In 1979, William Tibbs introduced his Theory of Universal Evolution toward Balance, in a copyrighted position paper, proposing that the moon may once have been a ring around the Earth -- fully two years before lunar scientists announced their "Giant Impact Theory" of the origin of the moon (hint: their theory backs Mr. Tibbs' conclusion)...

Now, to further support this argument for symmetry, Homo Summetros offers new theories in Anthropology, Astronomy, Mathematics, and Sociology... all based on humanity's universal, continuing evolution toward balance. For example...

• Global Warming:
  Are we causing it... or could it be an inevitable part of the Earth's regular, 150- to 250-million-year swings between glacial and inter-glacial epochs...?
• Physical Evolution:
  If global warming is cyclical, might the physical (even racial) characteristics which enabled early humans to evolve-- during the last Ice Age -- turn out to be the worst ones to help our descendants survive Global Warming...? Might the "human" being of the future look very different from anything that you've supposed...?
• Society and Race Relations:
  To what extent do they mirror the human trend toward balance...? Which social ideas are trying, like Neanderthal "man", to buck evolution...? and
• Mental Evolution:
